The Supermicro MicroBlade microserver represents an entirely new type of computing platform. It is a powerful and flexible extreme-density 6U all-in-one total system that features twenty-eight hot-swappable MicroBlade Modules supporting twenty-eight Newest Xeon DP systems with Intel E5-2600 v3 family configurations with up to two HDDs/SSDs and a SATA DOM per Module. The MicroBlade enclosure can incorporate two Chassis Management Modules, and up to two Switch Modules for efficient, high-bandwidth communications. It can incorporate up to eight redundant (N+1 or N+N) 1600/1400/1200W High-Efficiency (95%) power supplies with cooling fans. This innovative new generation architecture includes microserver, networking, storage, and unified remote management for cloud computing, dedicated hosting, Web front end, content delivery, social networking applications.
